A section of Members of Parliament from the North Rift Region allied to President William Ruto is urging the head of state to consider forming a government of national unity.

The UDA MPs argue that events of the last couple of weeks demonstrate that President Ruto needs to bring the country together and that coopting leaders from the opposition into his administration will make this agenda a great success.
